I don't know the SlovoEd dict, comparing the definitions shown in the screenshots at epocware's site with the AED definitions plus reading the marketing stuff on jdictionary's site I would say: same content word/definition-wise (WordNet). They "just" present the results differently.

I purchased AED, I like the approach of making more general/specific information available on demand.
