Yesterday I got a brand new t39m, because from my last t39m phone the ir-port was broken (just like that)..
Now, when I call someone the other side can hardly hear me, because the microphone volume is far too low. When I do a loopback test (through >*
Do I (again) have to bring it to the service centre?? Of is there a setting I can try??
Thanks,
Wouter.

Oke then, I have to pull the good old Nokia 7110 from the top shelf, drive back to the service centre and wait another 2 weeks
I'm beginning to beleve that ericsson wasn't such a good idea after all...
Thanks,
Wouter.

you can test to make a flip reset... in the service menu, enter "Service settings" and then "Select flip"... test one, or both of the reset options... it might help...
the bad mic sound is a quite strange problem... sometimes it helps by just changing flips, but sometimes it doesn't... in most cases the phone is replaced with another unit.

I seem to have the same problem, people don't hear me. As a matter
of fact, I'm waiting for it to come back from the repair due to
exactly this problem right now. Hope it comes back at the beginning
of next week...
The problem must be the mic or something very close to it, since the
problem disapperas entirely when I use the handsfree cable.
