If you have a P900 myou don't leave in stand by, you use it!
Look at the following tips to maximise battery life:

In summary:
1. You need a full charge (14 hrs+) and discharge at least 3 times in the initial period of ownership (SE recommend 10 cycles of full charge / discharge)
2. Do not have GPRS attached all the time (set to GSM mode, so only use GPRS when you need to)
3. Only have BT on when you need it
4. Use Sman or similar to limit the number of background apps

When a manufacturer makes a claim like that, you have to presume that all the conditions are 'ideal' for us to even come close to what they say. Ideal means, you turn on the phone and don't use it. The backlight should be off, no calls, no messages, no apps running,

and IR should be off, no games and no pics. And most important of all, you should have a perfectly great signal all the time.

Some sites talk about 400h...
but you can only reach it with all appz stopped and in Flight Mode.
Normal use 2/4 days for me.

Well over the Christmas period I admit I haven't used the P900 a lot, the odd call and checking the weather on GPRS now and again, it has been left on though day and night...
I have noticed that a whole day uses around 9-10% of my battery... so in theory, though not scientifically proven, it could last around 10 days or a little over... and that is just on standby (nothing in the background, 3-5 bar signal, 16+ hour charge initially and since I have had it. etc.)...
But of course the quoted battery times are laughable, as with all phones or battery reliant devices... if you use the P900 you can sometimes view the battery level go down a few percent over a period of a half hour or so... but this is not p900 specific, like laptops for example... the more you use it and the more intensive this use is, the less the battery will last...
