I have a big problem with my p900! When i remove the flip and act the virtue flip (make an option with flip remove), when i press the screen-lock function, i cannot unlock the screen, even using the virtue flipp (like dead!) and the jod dial without effect (press upward and inward!)
there is no problems with the real attached flip!
can anyone try it yet? just remove the flip and how to unlock the screen with out the real flip!

I would say check the manual as you could just not know how to use the jog dial.
Otherwise it's a problem with the jog dial, unless it works in all directions in the menu systems in which case maybe its your firmware which you can update online.

And which direction to you mean? inwards? or toward/away? or scroll (up/down)
If you go to for example the messages app and use the jog dial, each direction will do something different. So if in one direction it does nothing at all then you have a faulty jog dial
it goes like this:
Away - goes to app list
towards- opens message window (with options of find/get&send)
inwards- creates a new SMS
scrolling - obviously scrolls up and down over the varios message accounts.
But if you put the flip on and it magically does work then I dont have a clue.
If you have tried all this and it's still a no go, then I can only reccommend a service centre. Oh, what firmware do you have?

mine does exactly the same thing- when the flip is actaully removed - if u keep the flip on but activate the virtual flip the jog dial works!!!
I went 2 the shop 2day and they said they'd swap it 4 another one as soon as they get some in stock.... still buggin me tho!

Are you sure you haven't got any other app that's taking control of the jog dial? For example tracker?
But still, that wouldn't explain why it works when you have the flip attatched. I'm stumped. Are you SURE you're using the jog dial correctly?!?! Sorry, but I dont think I can help any more than I have.
