WMA is a Windows File. i believe that should run on Microsoft OS phones.
P800 supports WAV, MP3, IMY, MID, RMF, AU, AMR files.

...unless i'm mistaken.

I assume your "simil" is actually ".smil" file extension, that is the file format for MMS messages.

To my untrained ear OGG and WMA are about equal, and they are about equal in file sizes.

Try OggPlay or Unreal Player

IMHO I don't agree at all: wma is much better (expecially at 96 kbs, that is the bitrate I use) than OGG...

Going back to my question, I CAN'T BELIEVE there is no wma player for P800 around!!!

Believe it. WMA is a closed, proprietary Microsoft format. You can only use WMA if you pay Microsoft a bunch of money. Microsoft won't tell anyone else how WMA works, so other people can write programs for it. And Microsoft is not particularly interested in writing WMA for non-Microsoft devices. Symbian is the competition, and Microsoft sees WMA for the Microsoft Smartphone platform as a competitive advantage. (phfthhht)

MP3 is a semi-open format. Although manufacturers like Sony Ericsson have to pay a (small) royalty fee to use it, the format is openly published and can be implemented by anyone.

Ogg is a completely open, free format. Anybody can implement it free of charge.

My personal disappointment is not that the P900 doesn't support WMA, but that it doesn't support AAC.

Thnx for your opinion about wma (that's not requested in this post, thus).

I'm not talking about format, what is betterand wha't worst.... I'm just looking for a wma player

And I'm answering that due to Microsoft's well-known stance and competitive practices, the chances of seeing a WMA player on any non-Microsoft Smartphone are slim to none.
