Since there are about a day to go (Asia-Pacific Timezone) before the advent of the year 2004, may I hear from the members their new list of things to do/change for the coming year etc. etc.
For me, I 'promise' to be a more prudent guy in terms of the decisions I'll be making in life and to be more helpful to the people who are in dire straits. What's yours . . . .

I question this whole new years resolution thing anyway. If you want to better yourself, or do this or that, why not start it right away rather than waiting until 1st jan?

oh, and btw, my new years resolution is to stop procrastinating

@masseur - yeah very much right, why not start the change at once if really meant at that, but it would just be entitled/headed "All-Year-Resoultion" and not "New-Years-Resolution" - am I right here. That's why I will still start the 'change' , making a 'calculated' headstart at January 1st - the official count of a New Year starts there . . .(he,he,he) .

The thing with many 'new years resolutions' seems that most ppl have forgotten about them by the time the new year is about 3 weeks old.

In other words: they seem rather pointless to me.

A good resolution for everybody would be to stop 'planning to do things in the new year' but just go ahead and make things happen now!

Happy new year everyone.

@vlammetje, 'some' really forgot all the promises they've made, and to some, they did not even care to do it at all . . . Perhaps this thread would just be enough to record all the promises we've made - just in case someone forgot all about it . . .
