Hi all,first time poster here.
I recently bought a MCA-30 communicam for SE T310 .The camera works fine when I connect to the phone. But once I exit the camera's menu ,I hear a beep after about 5 sec and then I cant access the camera(i.e. via connect, fun & games etc) the phone just displays the msg "no accessory/camera attached." I have to manually disconnect the camera and then reattach to be able to acess it again.
The dealer says it works that way only. There is mention of the same in the manual.I have mailed the SE suypport but am still waiting for a reply.
Is it really an in built feature? If yes how do I deactivate it ,cause detaching and reattaching the camera every now and then is quite irritating.
Thanks 4 any help u people can give.

thanks 4 the reply.
this seems to be a battery life saving protcol or something. Is there no way to get around it?
Anyway I got a reply from SE support centre, they recommend me to take the phone to the service centre.I think they might have got my question wrong because at the time i asked them this question I had not realized that I can reconnect till the beep sound appears(with in 5 sec,i guess).
This kind of feature should be clearly mentioned in the manual or so.
well their service centre is quite far off from my place so I can only go there if I happen to be in the locality.Maybe I'll call up!
Thanx again....anyone else has any opinion btw????

the connection of the camera to the phone is pretty sensitive and or loose.. it happens to me too.. just try no to move the camera when it's attached. that's just normal, don't be bothered... happy new year! peace out!

That works on MCA-25 because the cam is always connected to phone. But with MCA-30 it doesn't because about 5 seconds after exiting camera menu camera dissconnects. It's crappy but we'll just have to live with that.
