Hi
Me and my hubby have just bought 2 T610s.
Mine was from a high street shop with R3C002 firmware.
Hubbys was bought on the web with R1L013 firmware.
I have just compared screens and to my surprise hubbys phone (with the older firmware) is a lot better than mine.
The screen is a lot crisper. How can this be, is it worth taking mine back?

a few other people have mentioned similar in the past. you should probably compare (on the label under the battery) the hardware versions (3rd set of characters on first line) and build week on the right under the second bar code in the format yyWww rather than firmware versions.

you could also try adjusting the contracts to see if that makes a difference

me and my nephew had the same problem, but i dont care mine was better, hes was darker and the contrasts on normal and service menu were the same, haha im better
