do a search for ogg player and/or the ogg vorbis file format. music files are compressed to about 1/3 of mp3 files without a perceptible loss in quality (at least on the phone). i have 45 songs on my 128MB MSD taking up about 50MB.

you would need a player for ogg vorbis files first, so if it's a panasonic mp3 player, probably not.. player for P800/900 is free tho...

Or, you can simply download a cd ripper which converts your music CDs into mp3,and then there are 2 options: 1.You have an audio cd (cda files) and you encode it into mp3 56k quality, using the ripper.
2.You have an MP3 disc or your MP3z are stored in your HD,so first of all you create an audio CD with the files you want, and then you follow the 1st option. I've got a Memory Stick 64MB with about 31 songs of normal duration on average.

10,000. Then I use an iPod for MP3 as it's an MP3 player.
I also use a camera to take pictures with.
I use an iPaq as a PDA.
My phone I use as a communication device and that's it. I've tried quite a few and come to the conclusion that's the only thing phones are any good at...
