> Cant find a service center to update firmware

I called sonyericsson and they said i have to sent it in and have them flash it and they doesnt have a local service center. Went to a T-Mobile dealer and they know nothing about it. Called T-Mobile and they say i have to contact SE. what do i do now?

Same thing happened to me man, they are sending me a box with instructions on what to send, send it back, they flash, and send back to me. I think I might even get a "loaner" phone from the place I bought it...

for me they said i have to pay for shipping which is about $30 and take 48 hrs...... kind of sux.........

nonsense... call up SE again and just say that something is wrong with it, (in my case there actually was..) and they should do it free of charge as long as you send it in and are willing to wait 2 weeks...

They only do it free of charge if your still in your warranty period and warranty area.
Also gothno where are you located? In the US you really do need to send your phone in.

That is the email I received when I asked about a local service center.
They "dont offer firmware upgrades", but they will upgrade it if you send it in with a specific problem you are having..
