The alarm clock on my P800 stopped working this morning. It seems to
have had a problem with the transition to New Year 2004. Has anyone
else had this problem?

When I go into the alarm clock settings the screen shows the clock and the current time, but the check boxes for setting the alarms are
blanked out.

Another intelligent user.
How about clicking on one of the boxes??
Don't you have a alarm settings menu now??

sure you do.

And what happens after you set everything and press done??

Voila. Everything works fine (except your brain since you're so dumb that you can't even check the manual)

It all depends on the point of view.

As lack of manners IMO is posting first topic on a forum withouth saing hallo etc.

Judging like you did 'easter-europeans' as a whole and not me as a person is also a lack of manners and disresspect to many others that would behave differently in my position.

something weird happened to my phone at the start of 2004. i seemed to totally lose the ability to lock the keys in flip closed mode! at first i only noticed because the keys didn't auto lock. i just figuered that i'd messed with the settings.

but then when i pressed the menu button "turn on silent" was on the top of the list! losk keypad was just gone! (same when i pulled jog dial towards me) very weird!

a quick "off - on" sorted it out tho! it sorts everything out!
