Could someone explain this to me please?
In the Unrealplayer 2.0 help file is written that it supports ogg files.
But for some reason the ogg files on my phone are not recognized, and so i cannot play them.
I have my ogg-files stored in the audio folder, and then divided in subfolders for the style of music they represent. With folders set on all...

Blanco!
Unreal doesn't spot a thing. Just a blank screen.I made a subfolder in audio, called ogg, but still Unreal player doesn't recognize the files wich are stored there. Just a blank screen. And even if i do not make subfolders but put it directly in Audio/Ogg or even in just Audio, it makes no difference.

Am i doing something wrong here??
Merci,

Paul

P.s I've read a post wich was dated from the 12th of december, in wich a member described a problem quite like this. I've tried to contact him, but so far, no reply...thus i made a new topic myself

Thanks for your reply.

My ogg files áre stored in D:Audio\ogg, and still unreal doensn't notice them. i've installed/de-installed Unreal about 4 times now, using the normal remove option on the P800 + checking C: & D: for left-over files (wich weren't there) I've tried the options you mentioned.....

Hi there,
Is there any audio player that can include midi files in the playlist? Unrealplayer can't & I don't think Ogg player can either. Wouldn't it be great if you can listen to midi (easy listening) @ bed time? thanks

you sure you got the right version? i dont remember ever having any problems with it apart from the fact i started off with the wrong version. unrealplayer had problems supporting id3 tags with more than 32 characters in them though. which was a real problem for songs like 'The Entire World Is Counting On Me, And They Don't Even Know It'

Well, i've got mine working now.
The trick was (i guess) that i installed an older version a long time ago, which didn't support OggFiles. Then, just upgraded it everytime. When i MANUALLY deleted all the files reffering to Unreal via a filemanager, and later installed the newest version (2.0 at that time) things worked perfect (at least, as long as i put the ogg files in X:\Audio\Ogg )
