Hi Guys,
I have been facing a very unusual problem for which i have the searched several forums but cudnt find any answer.
Lately, when i connect the P900 to my Laptop via cradle or BT the "phone connection link" in the system tray shows that i am connected but the little P900 icon in the system tray doesnt shop because of which i cannot synchronise or make a backup n so on.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the PC suite but that hasnt helped. A hard reset to the P900 also does not help. This is the first time i am facing this problem and cant seem to find any answer for it.
I am running Windows XP home edition with SP 1 and i am also using the latest version of PC suite 2.1.1.
Wud appreciate ur input on this.
Wishing all of u a very Happy New Year and hope that all of u are able to buy allllll the phones u want....
Cheers,
Doc.

Hey
I dont know whether or not this will help but try it anyway.
Firstly make sure that any third party firewall software is disabled - u dont need to disable the xp firewall though.
The main thing to check is to make sure that the
Phone Connection Monitor is in the startup menu.
i.e. Start - All Programs - Startup
I dont know whether this will help or not, but it should load up at start up as long as it is in that folder.
Let me know how u get on

docc!
This is NOT an unusuall problem. I bet, it is your firewall. This has happend to me and allot of people I know from this forum. Do you have Zone Alarm? If you do, I know this is the problem. Disconnect your firewall and it will (98% chance) work again.
Otherwise try to search this forum and you will find a bunch of suggestions.
Good luck man, I hated when this happend to me
