Hi i have been trying to uninstall TipicME (the instant messenging app) from my phone and it keeps telling me that a problem has occured and it is still in use, even though i have quit it and used SMan to fluch it aswell. It is installed in C: P.S. im using a P800
Can any one help me? thank-you

Thanks to AsAdRuLz post!! he mentioned resetting the phone (which i know is the most obvious thing to do lol) but i never thought of it and it worked a treat for me. App now uninstalled

Ur welcum bout da restartin thing..but...When i restarted my P900 the application went away from the list of applications........but wen i click applicaion at the top n den click Uninstall..the TipicME messenger iz der..n if i try to uninstall it...it sayz dat der iz anodr error or sumtin??...du u or ny1 els hav dis error??...N wat duz dis mean?...Iz da app stil on my cell or not??...wat shud i du?...

Thankz 4 ur help Lucas. i downloaded the FileMan...but i dont get wat 2 du next...i found the messenger in it n i deleted it..but wen i go to the uninstal thing ...the messenger stil cumz..cud u or sum1 els plz help me wid wat im supozd 2 du??..

You have to find ALL files associated with the program. That means to look in every folder on both your memory card and in your phone. Then I wold suggest a soft reset, i.e. turn it of and then turn it on again.
Carlsb3rg gave this advice when it comes to the CameraFX problem in another thread:
..."had the same problem uninstalling too, but i managed to remove it manually at the end. Here's how:
You have to have a program like "FileMan" to be able to do this. Go to "system" folder in "C" and remove any folder containing "camerafx" and also check for "camerafx" in "apps" folder. There should be a "Camera~1.SIS" file in the "install" folder, so delete that too. If you have installed it in "D", then look for the same folders both in "C" AND "D"..."
Use the same method to uninstall your app.
It should be gone....

I did not find any release notes on their web site. Neither did I get acces to their forum or FAQ. What you can do is to mail:
support@tipic.com and describe your problem. The app. is as they have quoted made for amoung other p800. They do not mention that is supports p900.
