Hi!

I live in Estonia and I'm client of EMT. The following I have experienced with T39m, T65 and T68i.

Sometimes when I want to use wap or check/or send e-post, the phone says "connecting". And nothing happens, until the phone goes back to recent selection (optin, menu). I guess it happens nearly 30% of cases.

It's not due to the temprary overcharge (blockage, congestion) of GSM-network. Sometimes it helps [GPRS starts working] when I switch the phone off and then switch again it on. But not always.

As one specialist from EMT says, this kind problem sometimes just happens. He said that especially with (Sony)Ericsson's phones.
Has anyone experienced the same problem with GPRS?

I get this all the time. I think it's just the gprs network/connection failing. It seems to be local to me - I always get failures at specific locations (not necessarily where the phone tells me reception is bad).

I BET it is network related. I am using wap all the time and i get this error almost everyday, for 5-1o minutes then it is ok. I use Orange wap unlimited and we hade Happy Sunday( when u can surf with gprs and a laptop over the net), and usually my wap doesn`t work on sunday as all the juice is consumed by the internet-over-gprs users. I get this "connecting" thing when it`s not working.I have a GPRS signal at all times. So it`s not ur phone, just the network.

Thank you all for answering! As I suspected I'm not alone with this problem.
