to make a long story short, my phone (t610) got messed up when the firmware was being upgraded....
if i buy another phone from rogers or fido (T616), and switch the insides, can rogers or fido trace the phone back to me through gsm technology??
please dont say return it or bring it to SE cause there isn't one near me

would you want to keep that? ill try to return the broken one back..but im afraid they can track the gsm numbers and then they screw me over...
i know its not the most ethical thing to do but im running out of places to get help...and i cant afford another 300$
