i jst got a message saying my mem sticks corrupt... and then it said the stick needs to be reformatted. l lost all data... any1 know y?

my p800 doesn't recognize the ms duo and when i'm trying to format it the p800 says 'memory stick damaged'
the same also says a sony digital still image camera.
but the strange thing is that the p800 works with my PC without any problem, formatted it with the sony memory stick formatter and with the tool by windows xp, but without any success

the stick works again now though which is strange... oh yeah and while the corrupt stick was in the phone it took like 10 minutes to boot. weird or wat? and there was me already thinking my phone was buggered...

passed an electro magnet over it in the science lesson @ school then stuck it in my P800 and formatted it!

the MS duo uses flash storge, that needs electrical power
hard disks for instance can be formatted so
