i'm going snowboarding in february and can only imagine that temperatures will be well below -13 degrees C. I was hoping to keep my t610 in my pocket while snowboarding but i've always noticed how cold it gets when ever i go out side.

Will I break my t610 by being in the cold too long or should it be alright?

Have you checked the SE website to see if they have operating temps on there? This message was posted from a T610

my p900 didnt give a toss when i was in -26 conditions whilst i was doing some research in artic circle so i doubt the t610 will struggle my 8910i froze up though damn that was so cold you spit on it and it would freeeze instantly.

now you must be wondering why i kept spitting at my phone

i did it because its a nokia.

ok finally make sure the t610 dont go flying out your pocket when you bail.

Had my T610 in my pocket in -15 degrees at christmas - no problem!

I used my Nokia 6210 in something like -27 last christmas, and it worked find (although the LCD crystals were quite sluggish so the refresh rate on the screen was visibly lagging).

@ AVRAFC lol

@maccad Well surely you could leave your phone where you are staying whilst you are snowboarding. If not couldn't you use a nokia or something unimportant if it was to break and keep your t610 nice and safe whilst your snowboarding.

Have had both my t68i and t610 at -28 and nothing happened, though this was only for short periods of 30mins or less, managed to write a text message with no slow down.
