Hi!Is there any possible way for uploading files via wap?Any way!
I'm using a p800.I tried something but it did not worked.I am thinking to do a kind of forum, and upload the files as text,if it will be no other way.
And a question off-topic:I am using Orange wap unlimited, gprs.I can't download any files larger than ~220k.And I am not the only one!Are there any limitations about the maximum file size when using wap instead of internet?Or it's just my isp who is doing that evel thing about maximum file size?
Thanks!

From my experience it looks like Orange seem to limit the size by what phone you have registered with them, for me with a t610 i think it is only 100kb,i think. My t68i is less than that. Unless im very much mistaken :-D This message was posted from a T610

Can't you get FTP programs for the P8/900? You could upload with that using free webspace!

So there is no way to transform a jpeg into text to upload it like in a forum, then to save te text from server and then to convert it back to jpeg?
I can't believe there's no possible way.

You can't convert a jpeg into text on any device! If you're talking about how people display pictures on forums, that is not how it's done. The picture is uploaded to a server from a 'fully functional PC' (in it's original format) and then a HTML tag (or BBcode) is used to 'fetch' the picture from the server and display it in the post.

If it was possible to upload via wap, I'm sure that www.euploader.com would have added this facility by now

I know how it's done.
For the moment I'd be happy if it will be possible even this way:
*I take a picture.
*I transfer the picture to may computer.
*Then I convert the picture to a text file that looks somethin like this, maybe :#%3^&^*%....!@@??.v,l,or some characters whatever.
*I transfer this text file to my phone.
*I go to my "forum" where instead of message I do copy&paste, using that text file.
*I press send.
*Then, when I want to take the "so called picture" I download that "message"
*i transfer the message to my computer, and convert that text, back, into jpeg.
Can this be done?Only using wap,not internet!

Nope!

Sure, you can 'open' a picture in notepad, say, and get a load of garbage text, but if you then save that garbage as 'pic.jpeg' and try to view it, you get a 'file type not supported' error or similar.

In other words, when you try to convert it back from text to a picture, it doesn't work. I just tried it!
