assuming its an phone then select the address and press the 'c' key.

If that doesn't work then you are out of luck because some earlier models don't provide this facility. All you can do in that case to "erase tracks" is keep entering other wap addresses until the one you want to hide is gone

assuming we are talking about addresses in the "Enter Address" menu since they are the ones that cannot be deleted in some older phones (the bookmarks I am sure always could be deleted), when I edit those addresses it creates a new entry with the edited value and keeps the old entry there

yeah, its strange behaviour, my T630 does it too.

You'd think if you EDIT something you are changing it rather than creating a new one. Another quirk I guess
