Well... Starndard SMS costs 10p to any other network and 3p to other Virgin Mobiles!
Is it any different costs?

That's not true. The network sees no difference btwn sms and ems. If you make a long ems it can be split. I send a kiss picture to my girl every night with a text and it costs as 1 sms

EMS is the same as SMS inderdeed Same costs. The network does not see any differance.
Every pixel is a 0 ore 1 (black ore white). So you can count how many sms's you will need for your picture. Ore otherwise make your picture * x * pixels large so the product is not larger then the amount of characters you can enter in 1 sms.
So a big EMS picture can be more then 1 SMS. But you will be noticed if it takes 3 SMS messages to send the picture.
