Dear all,
I'm looking for an information about SMS.
Before my P900, was using a T68i and everytime I sent an SMS, I got a delivery reply (If I can call it so) to know if other people received it or not.
Now I'm looking for the same option on the P900 but I don't find domething.Only thing I saw was a delivery receipt for the MMS but nothing for SMS.
Can somebody help me please ?

you have to set the delivery report option for each SMS you send
start to create the text message and click on the second tab at the bottom and you will see the option

Ok thanx for the info.
One more question, isn't it possible to set that option as default ?

Can you enable the option with the flip closed?

No unfortunately not, only via the second tab in flip open mode. You would think SE would change this to be the same as MMS

It's been a while since I was on O2, but you used to be able to get them by starting your text message with *0# the space after # is important. Don't know if that still works though.

Good thing with the search function in the forum. I was also looking for a way to turn the receipt function on by default, but apparently there is none.
I am bit intrigued by the O2 issue: as far as I know, the receipt function is free for me (Vodafone/SE) to use. And I used it all the time on my old trusty T68i. So it is something that the network operators can turn on and off?
