Guys,
I've been getting some problems with my O2 p900 crashing from time to time, hanging at a completely white screen. Strange thing is when it does it some functions are still alive such as it will flash up the prompts to unlock the keypad if you hit buttons, but refuses to give any other display flip open or closed. It will also still recieve calls and ring but won't allow you to answer them.
Just thought i would see if anyone else is getting similar before i go trying to get my firmware upgraded to the latest SE version or getting the phone replaced.
A.

Do you have any third-party software installed?

I think I've occasionally had this - but not recently (he says, only having had his P900 for a couple of weeks! It seems a LONG time).
Thinking back, my vague recollection is that the white screen would occur if I 'tried to do stuff' quickly after powering back up after a power down. Something made me think that was it, and I've not had the problem since.
Its as though the GUI is up but its not actually ready for you yet - after rebooting you do something (not sure what specifically - PERHAPS opening a flip, opening a program and closing a flip before its ready or something) - and then it white screens.
Anyway - as I've said, not had it in over a week - I do occasionally reboot (I had the 'sMan BlueJacking possibly causes a problem with Jabra BT200 headsets' problem so I did quite a lot of panic rebooting to try to repair the pairing late last week).
Try it - if you power up - do nothing for 'a bit' (20 secs or so) - I'm sure you'll have no more white screens of death!
