my turn to ask a question

I travel between UK and Germany every week at the mo and on my iPaq its a one click operation to change timezone between my home and visiting cities

on the P900 I seem to have to go to the time menu and choose select location and then for each of current country and other country I have to fully reselect the country then the city

anyone know a shortcut to just switch the two around?

edit: ok just found a slightly quicker way. on the time screen itself I can click the name of the two cities and a drop down list appears where I can select the other city.

This is definitly quicker but just in case, is there not a way to just switch them in one go?

I don't know if i got your question but I'm going to say this because i did it on my P800 and i believe that it's the same on P900.

When clicking the the clock in the task bar it opens the Clock and alarms app right?

Now, if click on the name of the city of your current time, and a combo will appear allowing you to select some other city that you've already choosen.

OK...you got it already... I think it's the quickest way to switch locations.

thanks, its typical though, I spend 10 minutes playing around and then 1 minute after I make the post I find a quicker way!

well, if u hv worldmate installed, in the maps tab, u can just simply click on a map wherever u r
a few more clicks, but it is quite cool

thanks, yeah I do have worldmate installed, have it on the ipaq too, but as you mentioned a few more clicks and you gotta be very accurate and have a lot of patience trying to click on London (for example)

@Masseur
How would it be more clicks on the Worldmate when you open worldmate, that is one click, you can straight away see time of five cities right? Or did I misunderstood your question?
And if I remember correctly using SMAN (I don't have it on my P900 now) you can assign the internet button to open worldmate and that would be much more easy, since you don't even have to open the flip then.

@anish, fijbert was suggesting doing it via the map page (the second tab in worldmate) and it was that that I was talking about regarding more clicks

if I do it on the first page with the 5 cities listed then its the same number of clicks as doing it in the native "set location" page of the p900 as you have to pick the country then the city

by far the quickest way does still seem to be using the p900 time page and just cilcking the city names and I am happy with that
