I am thinking of purchasing a new PC and i have come across the Sony Vaio W series Desktop Entertainment PC, question is do you think it is worth over £1400 ???

@peterkay, hmmmmmmmmm, honestly, I don't have any idea how much it really cost here in my home town ??? Just a suggestion here, are you really decided to buy on a Sony Vaio model for your PC ? I 'think' the latest models of Dell and Compaq are great ones too . . . Just a suggestion here.

they look nice, but the specs are not the best you could get for that price.
You could easily buy a normal PC and buy a few add-ons and it'll be exactly the same as the vaio

tis damn sexy though

I am on my 3rd vaio laptop in a row and my wife has an earlier model of a vaio desktop and I cannot fault them with their quality and the stuff that comes preloaded on them and the general design, but others are right, they are generally more expensive for similar specs when compared to dell etc
