ok this forum must be in "general" category, but the respond there is very low , so i make it here
, i hope is ok with the Mods, if not , plesae move or close this then

in fact i'm sure that they are the maine reason , why does our P900 doens't come with a full version of V-Rally. U konw Sony is very Greedy Giaant electronic company, and they have very good experience in making their customer pay more for the company profits.
But i Love Ericsson ever since the GF/GH 388 was born, and i've been loyal to them ever since.
that is the reason i choose P900 as my phone now
Wondering is Ericsson doesnt merge with Sony, but merge with Panasonic, then we ca use those cheap SD card on our P900, not the bloody expensive MS DUO
and maybe we could even get the V-Rally for free
just hoping Sony-Ericsson will divorce And become Panasonic Ericsson

If you had the chance to sell high priced stylish products engineered with adequate technology and whose quality could gain the confidence of the consumer at the same time, wouldn’t you be more concerned about your profit margins? It worked for M$. So when you’re on top why go for broke just to please the masses. Its sounds like greed, but then again what corporation isn’t driven by it? I’m sure some of our ideas crossed the minds of the engineers that worked on the P900 at the R&D level. But then again like any other company they don’t have much influence in the output of the product when the company’s charter is really to produce $$ as fast as possible. Just for the record. I do personally think Sony blows in some areas. But would the P900 really be as popular without Sony in this day and age? I don’t think so.

Well i think sony is ok, i like their design and i think sony products are quality....
though i don't have much sony things at home (a dvd and my second cam) so im not a sony fanatic at any means but if i see a panasonic and a sony device (like a tv) with the same quality and the same price then i would most likely bought a sony because i have faith in theiry quality....

what mmsman said about having faith on the quality of sony products is true, but i must say that the Px00 would had even more success if it wasnt that expensive or if it supported other types of memory like SD or MMC rather than memory stick despite the fact that memory sticks are faster.

I've never liked Sony (especially their Vaios, too problematic) but it does really annoy me that the P900 comes with MS Duo instead of having an SD/MMC slot, it's the main downside to the P900 for me. Although having said that, without Sony, there may not have even been a P900, who knows?

INMHO
also panasonic TV tends to be more expensive then Sony's
as their are really made in japan, unlike sony which already has alot of factory on Chine , malaysia, etc

PANASONIC (who are also known as TECHNICS) also make tvs in the UK and ship them abroad just like SONY so saying that PANASONIC really make their tvs in japan that is why they are expensive is false

and i think IMHO , the original ericsson phone design is better then SE's
the ericsson phone are simple an elegant, while SE phones tend to be more fashionable like NOKIA
look at GF388, still think that is the best phone design
look at T230,T65,etc and also (sorry , P800)
the model ids to futuristik, u get bored easily by looking at them everyday
once again this is in my views, other may have different opinion
