Hey guys... I've been watching for a good many months now and now I have a problem, so I thought I'd ask.

I'm trying to download a .jar file via gprs. I go to the link, and start the download, when it gets to the end... where it usualy saves the file, it gives me an "item not supported. can not be downloaded." message. This after the file has been downloaded. The phone never saves the file.

This is on a SE T610 btw. Thanks in advance

I had the same with some files i think u can safely say the fone does not support it. Try checking out Http://j2me-software.com 4 t610 software This message was posted from a T610

Unfortunately the T610 does not support all java files. Go to http://Chaos77.com/bluedemon click on custom se on the index page and you will find many links there that have java downloads for your T610. I hope this is of help. This message was posted from a T610

Thanks guys.
Figured it out though... seems the where you download the file from matters. I tried downloading it from my own server first, that didn't work. So I tried some other places on the web that host wap files. And it worked.
Strange imo. Are there any settings that need to be made serverside?
