Hey people it's that time of year again to get a new phone... rejoice to the world!!! ha ha

In September I gave up my contract because I decided to give up work and go to university. (Accountancy is sooo boring)

So now I have realised that I cannot live without a contract phone, and it is killing me. I have held out for as long as I can but now I have to relinquish under the pressure of the hefty Topping Up I have been doing. (Damm Girlfriend!)

So I need your guys expert advice on which phone to get.
I currently have a T610 and its a great phone, but I get really bored quite easily and I fancy having a flip phone, as I havent had one for a while. Soooooo, after that long build up... I have a kind of shortlist that I am thinking of....

SE Z600 (although it is the same as T610 and kind of bulky, rubbish camera)
SE Z1010 (which looks good but will probably be on 3 network??)
Moto V600 (Looks good too, but a flash on camera would be ace)
Pana X70 (Looks great and great size, but rubbish camera)
Sharp GX-20 (Great screen, and camera, no active flip or Bluetooth)

or should I hold out a bit longer for some new phone that is coming out soon.

Any help would be greatfully received.

Errm, what the point in having a SE Z1010 - a 3G phone if you can't use the 3G features on it? (AFAIK the 3 network is contract only). So yes, you can get it simfree but you'd be missing the whole point.

Of course there's no saying the topic starter even lives in the UK so the company '3' specific is not the issue. Besides, doesn't he state it rather clearly that he is looking for a contract phone??

Finally...... Z1010 would be my choice as well for testing 3G features, however if 3G is not yet up and running in your country it would be a waste of money IMHO and in that case you'd be better of getting one of the others. depending on what you value most of the features, we could probably suggest something.

i'd say - if your heading for 3G in near future go for the Z1010, but if your going to (or you country in other words) stay with GSM for awhile the Z600 would be my given answer!
