...

i have recently bought a P900 and i really do love it,it is amazing what u can actually do with it...but my question is...has any1 ever heard of a little program that u can install on your P900 that allows u to change channels on ALL TV's and things like that?because i have a friend who HAS this program on his Compaq PDA and i am sure it is compatable,i just havent seen him yet to test it...any info/help would be appreciated here as i think this is a cool little gadget.

P.S. Also scouring ebay,i found a P900 for sale with this tool installed on the P900 as in the description it said "change tv channels with your mobile phone!"

Kind Regards

Yes, is called "Total irRemote 1.01" and you can try it the demo version. Search it on the UIQ section on
http://my-symbian.com/uiq/download/

I have tried it but for the low power of P900 leds you must be at 30cm in front of tv/hi-fi to communicate.

30 cm????? are u sure??? with my p800 i can change channels from max 1,5-2m! p900 must be the same ! The precision counts,u have to point the phone ir led exactly to tv led and the distance should increase!
