This has probably been asked before, but could anyone tell me what upgrades to expect from having my P800 flashed with the latest firmware.

There isnt much, but early versions of the P800 firmware did not have full screen video or pictures and also did not have as many options for the camera (such as night mode, mute shutter, etc.).
If your P800 has these already, there probably isnt much point updating the firmware unless you are experiencing problems with the phone.
