Hi,i have a P900 on orange with gprs enables, but i keep getting an error saying "connection to msn server failed"

thats trying to connect to messenger@hotmail.com on port 1863

Is the GPRS activated on your Orange account and if so is it connecting at all?

You may need to get the settings send out in a sim update from orange.

Thanks, just checked with them and all gprs in enabled and working... and i can browse the net ok..

I have the same problem but I don't believe it's Orange as it worked on my P800 b4 upgrading to a P900.

I think it's the application. Not P900 compatible.

Version 2 of IM+ is out for p900 since 17th Dec (ish)

And tbh the previous version worked on my p900 with no hassles whatsoever, all they have added is smilies. The main protocols are identical

A hotmail account might be you problem as its a Microsoft Service!!!
