Today i downloaded the free version of Anvil to edit midi files so i can use a specific portion for a ringtone.
Could anyone tell me how to cut a certain part of a Midi out to save as a tone for my T610???
Cheers

Oh yes, ive tried that programme for just the same reason. What you do is that you figure out which part is the one to go, you select it in one of the tracks and go to Edit -> delete selection from all tracks. Repeat if necesary, save, and your good to go!

TimLarsson. Sorry i think i explained it badly , what i need to do is take maybe 15 or 20 seconds from a midi file rather than using a 4 or 5 minute track.
Thanks for you help

Well, if you crop out the stuff you dont want there you'll end up with the part you want, wont you? But perhaps theres an easier way, i donno.

YOU GUYS!!! If you want to make and edit decent midi files for your T610, get a copy of Sibelius (or another score editing programme from your nearest music shop) and use it to edit, or create your own midi files. All you have to do is save the song as a midi file instead of a Sibelius file. These programmes are expensive. However try asking around your musically minded friends for pirate copys. Cheers

PSMPlayer does the job. Quick and easy to drive. Free down. No registration required. Ideal.
