hey there.
i keep reading about ppl asking how to unlock their phone. i was wondering what does the phone being locked prevent, whatsthe benefit to unlocking it, how to tell if mines locked, and how it can be unlocked? thanx!

if a phone is simlocked it can only be used with the provider to which its locked. If it's unlocked it can be used with any network provider.
To check if it's lock, either test with SIM cards from different providers, or enter the service menu (> * SIM lock ... if all padlocks are opened the phone is unlocked

corporate -> unlocked 10
so this mean its locked?
