Did the online check and found my P900 is not running the very latest firmware so was going to do the online update.
Two things worried me:
1: I have a 56k modem and the say you should have broadband really.
Does it take a LONG time to download the upgrade so is this why a modem is considered iffy ?
2: It says if running Win XP you should have SP1 installed. I don't see what that's got to do with the update. Are they just saying this to cover themselves, or do you need SP1 on xp ?
Cheers.
Finally, is it dodgy and am I risking a buggered phone if something goes wrong ?

I just upgraded my firmware yesterday. i have a DSL on AOL and it took abt 20 mins. when i was using the internet explorer browser the sync upgrade won't work so i used my AOL browser and sync it and it works. i heard Opera browser would work too. i you'll upgrade ur fone you should try backing up your fone. the only thing i notice on the upgrade is the powersave clock it's big now. and i read on some forum the T9 is upgraded but i don't use that.my advice u should just wait til they have a much better upgrade
