Hi, in my p800, i dont know why, but it just stopped telling me that i got a msg. the display message notification is ON, everything is fine, i got enough memory, i just dont get any display saying that i got a msg, instead i got to check myself manually. can someone explain the problem? and if possible, a solution,thanks!

I have the samr problem with my P900, it doesn´t show missed calls or mesages, its only the clock screensaver. Why? Why! Bad phone , Bad phone.....................

i'm assuming that you have removed the flip on your phone, therefore may i ask if the virtual flip is open or closed?
if it is open, then the phone is working in PDA mode, and while on standby, all it will do when a call or message arrives is to play the alert tones. it won't light up or anything, and the only way you will know if you missed anything is if there are little icons on the status bar showing missed calls or messages received.
if you close the virtual flip, then it will operate like a normal phone, lighting up and playing the alert tones just like a normal phone would. at least that's how my p8 is. i presume a p9 would behave similarly.
