Which is the most supported from any software?
And for unlock software?

The USB data cable is in fact a serial data cable with a built-in USB-serial adapter. So they work the same way with any software.
Some after-market USB cables can also charge the phone.
These data cables cannot be used to unlock/flash your phone. You need an unlocking cable for that. (Though technically you can re-arrange the pins of a data cable to turn it into an unlocking one)

i've got a ( non-official ) usb cable for my SE T200 and nothing works right(!) and the cable's constructor supports all others phones except t200

I 've also tried my cable with "FMA" and "MyPictures" but things were bad. HAS anyone a DIAGRAM of RS232 to SE cable? I wont to try it..tnks

make sure the COM port speed is 9600 for the cable under device manager -> ports
If you are using SE software, enable the COM port under Phone Monitor Options under control panel
