I thin is the most beautiful phone but it doesn't have:
Profiles (themes are too heavy for system and keeps too much time to switch).
Task/Calendar: on T68i you could record a task "call" and when phones shows you the pop-up it asks if you want call the contact.
Just selecting Yes the call starts.
Exist any software to solve these problems? No...

If you use a Smart Phone just to make a call...
You have won a Motorola
(with Nokia you can't make calls)

You don't use them so that makes them useless? Missing profiles is a pain and big mistake that SE didn't include them.

please be honest !
YOU ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!
HOW MANY USERS OF P800 and P900 really need profiles?
if I use personal rings for most of my contacts I DO NOT NEED.
if I am in a meedint I just press C to enable silence mode and I DO NOT NEED
What profiles are used for???????
Guys come on.... most of the nokia kids use a profile different from the standard only for having their name on the display..... COMMMMMEEEE ONNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

profiles is nothing for me man this is what the phone really miss profiles?I think it miss some good features like the 6600 the one you can select the external memory when you receive files on bluetooth or infared, I think this is a worthing missing feature so you can get big files with inf or bluetooth on every pc without taking with you the cradle.

Profiles are usefull, and a phone like p900 (the king of phones) should have profiles too. But i think that is not really important.

I am firmly in the camp, which holds the view that profiles are not really very important. Profiles are pretty pathetic really, the main advantage being that one could switch from normal mode to silent mode, etc
As one chap said previously if you want silent mode just hold in the 'c' key for a few seconds. I don't really see what all the fuss is about, oh wait one can't have one's name displayed ... how awful!

C'mon, you have to admit that it's a small and usefull feature, especially since the t68i had it (so no "get a blokia" comments please). So when you are an SE user and you upgrade to a p800 you should expect your phone to gain features, instead of useful features getting scrapped.
I was surprised it didn't have profiles or themes...
I was even more surprised the p900 still didn't have profiles.
When i'm in the car or outside in the city, i need a louder ringtone than in the office or at home. So simply pressing c doesn't cut it.
It's basic software that costs little to no space so why not just put it in a 'smart'phone.
edit: But i'm in the camp that firmly ridicules people who give their profiles their own name...
