Hi!
I have a bunch of commersial spots that I recomressed to mp4 from quicktime. It took a while before I learned that I first had to scale the image size to 176x144. It works, but if I set kbits/sec too high the film would not play properly.

This is how I did on my imac:
I took a quicktime file (already compressed to 320x240 and about 5 Mb large), used quicktime pro to rescale the film to 176x144 wich for some reason increased the file size. Then again I used quicktime pro to recopomress to mp4. This resulted in a file that played nicely in my p900, but it's quite large (1720kb for a 40sec spot). Compressing to mp4 I set kbits/sec to about 230/25ff/keyframe every 100.

Anybody with any suggestion about how to increase image quality and reduce file size? I have cleaner6, but haven't yet had the time to play around...

Me and my new best friend, P900.
