I don't mean no abracadabre or open sesame. Does anyone use the "MAGIC WORD" on p900/p800 and do you find it useful? How well does it work with a bluetooth headset? Does it drain the battery quite badly and what am I having for supper tonight?

Well, I read that it doesn't work with BT headsets (from the very manual itself), only from the headphones or directly to the handset. This isn't to say it wouldn't work when using a BT headset, but I think it means the commands aren't passed by the headset to phone, so you would actually have to be within range of the handset so it could pick up your commands.
That said, I've never used it... don't see any need when I can just press the button on my HBH-65 to deal with calls. Just by €0.02.
Cheers

My friend!
I have no idea what the "magic word" is, so I cant tell you if its usefull tonight. And if you are going to have your bluetoth for supper I suggest you brush your teeth. And finally I dont work with abracadabre.
I hope I could be of some assistance to my fellow esato member.
Regards
Luc

Its already integrated in the phone, no 3rd party app.
Magic word is the way a P800/P900 can be used to make calls without touching a button. It monitors all the time for certain commands which you can set. Commands like Accept, Reject, and Cabbage. Actually it doesn't have to be cabbage but any word you specify, the P900/P800 will constantly monitor to see if you say the "MAGIC WORDDDDD!!". Then it will take further commands.
Someone out there must use it. Or does it suck like Jar Jar Binks off Star Wars.

as has been mentioned, you cannot use it with bluetooth headsets, only wired headsets and car kits and the reason is, as you mentioned, that it would suck like...
edit: indeed I just checked the manual and it specifically says that you cannot use bluetooth headsets

I don't use it myself, I have tried but the problem for me is you can't really do anything with the phone after voice dialling without actually pressing anything on the phone, which makes it kind of useless as a completely handsfree solution.

Magic Word is crap, as it can't be used with BT headsets/carkits and destroys the already pretty inadequate battery life of your Px00.
Why can't it use lower power?!!!!
Come on SE.....

Well, for this "magic word" I just can say that it's a nice idea but in the real world i had more funny stories that usability with this option.
The best one is with my girlfriend in my car a late evening. She just said something like this (this is my own translation and my English is as you can notice so...) "o f**k, mother" (in polish it's a kind of way to say that something made you estonished).
Unfortunetly I had my P800 with Magic Word switched on and the phone number to my mom has voice tag like "mother".
So after an hour my father called me back with a strange question why I did o call to my mother.
I hope that during this unwanted call my mom doesn't noticed our "actions" in the car.
I had a lot of such situations when P800 wanted something from me. I tried to change the magic word to be as strange as possible but at the and I just give up...
That's all...

i dun think is a good idea to use the "magic word"
let alone to use bluetooth headsets on our P900
with them swithced off, mine only could last me for 1 day
so expect to get only half day use of ur P900 if u use the above features

deevonn,
I think/hope you will find that future FW upgrades for the P900 will decrease the impact of BT on battery life as it did on the P800, where version R2D was significantly better than R1D.
If not, well all have to carry around our chargers in our pockets for ever!
