The P900 features 32MB Internal Memory, where 16MB are used as RAM-Drive (called INTERNAL or C:-Drive) and 16MB are used as Memory for the running Applications.
SMAN (in the Main-Shell) does just tell you the "Memory free for Applications" part. However on the "Filemanager" View you have to check the "free space" of the "RAM-Drive" (--> Check out the C:-Drive).
The Message-Application normally saves all SMS'ses (Inbox as well Outbox) to the C:-Drive in a structure C:\system\mail\....
1st Tip (Quick-Relief): Restart your P900. Normally some temporary files will be deleted and you can work again for a while. However be careful: the temporarly emptied RAM is filling up again quite quickly.
2st Tip: Delete SMS/MMS, Sounds, Videos & Pictures from your internal "C:-Drive" and restart to free up space.
3rd Tip: Delete un-needed applications you installed onto the C:-Drive and install them ALL on the D:-Drive (Memorystick DUO).
4th Tip: Reduce the amount of "Voice-Dialing" assignments. The record of a "Voice-Dialing" entry consumes also "C:-Drive" Space and can - unfortunately - not be put on to the D:-Drive.
I saw, that it makes sense to have at least 2MB left of "free" space on the C:-Drive. With normal syncronisation (where old entries are deleted after 60 days) and having around 250 contacts in my adressbook with 10 Voice-Dialing numbers and normally around 50-60 SMS (25 Inbox, 25 Outbox) and 2-3 MMS (with Attachments), I have a perfectly stable P900.
Hope that i could help
Cheers
