when the phone is started up it has the sony ericsson logo and then the orange animation before saying phone on flight mode etc. how do i change the two animations? im modding the xp theme and want to make it look like its booting up a pc by replacing the sony ericsson bit with a fake dos thing and then having the xp professional loader in place of the orange animation, would look sick! please help, so far ive done my xp screen saver and modified some standby graphics for the icons cause the originals sucked as well as made new desktop images flipopen/closed cause the old ones sucked too

You cant. The startup animation is on the A drive so you cant delete it. Unless you get your firmware flashed to the original SE version, cos that will delete the customisations. Then you can put you own startup/shutdown mp4s in a folder on C and call it sysdata. Then youll have a customised startup and shutdown. First thing to to is get a flash tho.
