ok just phoned orange up to unlock my phone and they said that i have to pay the whole line rental upfront before they will unlock my phone for £20
is there any way around this as i dont really want to pay it all up just wanna unlock it and then still pay line rental?
i want to keep any warrenties i have and i have taken out insurance too so need that to be valid
any ideas?

Yeah I know a place you can get it unlocked in London...northwest in Harrow. Got mine done £30.

can i use the cable in the dock that i have with my p900 when they say a t68 data cable is it the same?

i no a shop that will do it for me in south london for £10 but i want to keep warrenty and insurance all valid!

nope you cant use the docking cable...its got to be an unlocking cable which is about £10-£15. ITs looks the same though.

You need a T28 data cable. Look here www.mobilefun.co.uk they will sell you the cable and the unlock code. Also lots on ebay, for example this one here

Got mine done yesterday remotely from these guys: gsm-software.com. I ordered the cable pack for $35 which includes t28 cable, 1 unlock credit and fedex nextday delivery. With $ so low, came to under 20 quid all inc.

@ Jiggy Jaggy I know of a place in Harrow that does unlocking for only £10(inside the St.Anns centre).. £30!.. wow that seems very steep in deed, where is that shop so that I can avoid it
