HI:

I would like to syncronize p900 and computer using only the p900, i mean, when i want to syncronize, i just conect the mobile to the computer or look for the "syncronize" link to start it, but i wanna start the syncronization with p900 software, is it possible?

I have seen that "remote sync" exits on p900, but ask for a server database or something like this, which i dont know what is.

Any help?

I sync my P900 with SE software without a syncstation. I just use a bluetooth connection. Connect to your pc from the phone and then the little Phone appears next to the clock in windows. then i start the synk app in my computer.

I hope this is what you asked for?

Thx, but i know that, i want to start sync using the p900, without touching the computer. Let me explain with an example:

- My computer is in one room, and my bedroom is nexto to that. So i usually study or read or whatever you want on my bedroom, but i have the phone with bluetooth and i would like to read email or sync without getting to the computer's room.

Hope it would be clear no.

...i do not see the problem: If your "Sync Station" Software setting is to syncronise eachtime the P900 is connected, then Bluetooth is fine.

If you have a Bluetooth solution based on Widcomm Stack (most of the USB Bluetooth devices use this one), there is a PC Software which is called "Bluetooth Proximity connector" (Freeware)

see: http://www.ephebe.f2s.com/ProximityConnector.htm

It will let your PC always scan over bluetooth if the P900 is around and then establish a connection to it. So means: If you disable Bluetooth on your P900 there is no connection. If you enable it on your P900 then & "SyncStation" Software on your PC is set to automatically sync eachtime the phone is connected, you've got exactly what you need.

Hope that helps.

Cheers

I can not get my e-mail to follow the sync. Everything else is working, but not this. Anybody got some clues???

SE was not able to help me, so now I turn to the Masters of Esato for help

you didn't say what you have done so far but I assume you have checked your sync station settings for "Messages"?

I changed the configuration on day 1 but I recall it was only going to sync messages a certain number of days old and a certin max size by default

worth a look anyway

Yep! Done all that, max size, number of days and so on. But it still does not work.

Aaah. Please help. My P900 used to sync perfectly via the cradle but now all my computers are saying - found new hardware "USB Serial" and cannot find the driver for it. Im guessing there is something wrong with the phone or the cradle.

Any suggestions please shoot.
