I have now got O2 pay as you go gprs working on my phone, and its fine.i decided to try using my t68i as a modem for my laptop, and so linked it up with IR and had a go, having first entered in the dns server for o2 onto the dialup connection (i was aware of this as i initially got errors about my pc not having an assigned address, but since i included that its fine). however now although i can connect to the internet, i cannot browse anywhere at all, or ping anything. any ideas?

assuming its wap you have got working on your phone then unfortunately that will do you no good when connecting from a pc.

You will need to set up a separate internet data account on the phone with a different APN and use that to do internet type GPRS from the pc.

can you access the o2 website? o2 do not enable gprs for mobile web use with their pay as you go service.

Yes, It's supposed to be ending at the end of jan. But people have said It's been extended to end of feb or even march. Just check your credit on feb 1st to be sure. This message was posted from a T300

I did a connection speed test with my t68i on the internet, using a GPRS connection from orange(netherlands) and got a avarage of 3.4-3.6kb/s when downloading.not to bad becouse i have a weak network signal at my place.so it should be better with full coverage and with a other phone, the t68i can't use all the timeslots that are used for a gprs connection..
