speaking to the manager of my local link store & carphone warhouse too and apparently three has passed up on the z1010 , the phone itself was in the latest brochure from the link but was then removed...
I read this somewhere on the net too but i cant see where...
sorry if this is old news...

3 have standards? When did that happen? Or is it that the z1010 would have a usable battery life, and so they don't want to make the crappy necs and motorolas look bad?

its coming to singapore singtel already have it on the list of 3g phones (and i played with the motorola a835 or whatever on singapores 3g network and made a video call and so my surprise it was smooth no lag or anything)

apprently 3's "standards" are that all phones must support all their network features, or they won't support them!
so no nokias (as nokias havent got any phones that support video calling)
and looks like z1010 wont then. shame.

However I have greater expectations of

to release a reasonable product that I have of 3 to implement one.
It's probably got more to do with the z1010 not lending itself to 3's ridiculous "walled garden" approach to content.
