I've converted a few of my CDs into MP3 and copied them to a Memory Stick - one folder per CD. I can obviously play a single CD by selecting the appropriate folder in Music Player. Or I can play all CDs my selecting All. But by selecting All, I also get the MP3 ring tones in the P900's internal memory.

Is there a way I can get Music Player to play all CDs, perhaps even randomly, but without it picking up the ring tones? I could put eveything in one folder, but them I couldn't easily play just one CD if I wanted to.

Don't think that's possible.
But maybe if you try unrealplayer (use search).
Don't have it personally but it's worth a try.
I use oggplayer myself but then you'd have to covert all your mp3s to ogg or re-rip your cd's... that's a real drag.

instead of selecting all? why not just select unfiled on the memory stick and it should only show you the memory stick audio content?

Thanks for the suggestions. I think just delete all the ring tones I'm not using and suffer the occasional Ring...Ring...Ring in amongst the tracks I'm listening to.

I just thought of something which might work - and it did! I used File Managed to mark the Internal\Audio\Sony Ericsson directory as hidden. Now Music Player doesn't list files in this directory - even when I select All. But the phone does find the files when someone calls or sends a text. (Just thought others might benefit from this.)
