Hi there,
I noticed that the "Hide my number" feature only appear when you enter the phone # that u call manually but not from contact. Is there a way to use that feature with the # in contact?
thanks

yeah, that option doesn't seem to be there, but you can store that contact with #31# at the beginning of their number and it will always hide your number when you call them

I think this might have been discussed before, use the search, hopefully you should find something useful.

In the lesser phones ou can mark the number you want to call then bring up the menue and choose hide my number. But I guess you've tried it and it isn't there?

Or you can enter 141 before the number and it will hide your number

Does this apply to all UK networks including Orange?

This feature is absent on my P900 (organiser version R2B02). Having owned SEZ600 and lots of older Nokia phones I'm begining to think the P900 phone is less of a phone than most.
The unit is great don't get me wrong and as a pda it beats my Toshiba E740 in lots of areas. Its just that there some features (petty??) in most phones absent from the P900. The inability to record calls is another (why is it ok to record everything else but phone calls?) And why can I not use my nice big screen to browse via bluetooth ftp while the "lesser" Z600 can? etc
I hope SE address some of these issues in future sw updates.
Been reading bits on Esato for a while. Hello all!

Back2the topic:#31# is a network feature on all GSM networks, IF ur network allows it. U can store it in ur phonebook or if u have the t series u can always edit ur number b4 calling. It has been discussed b4 many times and since then nuthin' changed believe me!
