Oh I started a thread about that while ago because my mate was going to have a z600 on voda and I asked about the customizations and what the icons were like etc but overall I didn't get much response either. However if the icons are a big deal then I'd advise to get it on a different network.
If your going for pay as you go I recommend orange as you can pay £20 a year (one off) and get 5 free txts a day and with that £20 you get £5 top up anyway. Plus orange don't customize your phone too much. However if you really want to be on voda, buy a sim free phone or one on o2 who don't lock their phones then stick a voda sim in it.
