On my T68i the GPRS indicator was always there (like the signal indicator) on my T610 it is only there when in use , my mates T610 is the same as my T68i , can anyone tell me if the indicator should or shouldn't be seen normally ??????????

Connectivity -> Data comm. -> Prefered services
choose "GPRS and GSM" if you want to see the indicator at all times.
