Hi!
Ive had my t68i now for almost 20 months but I got a huge problem which will make me throw it in the thrashcan very soon unless I can fix it...
After about a year, the phone started acting weird in the way that the person I am talking to can not hear me but I can hear them - so they go "hello?" "hello? are you there" and after about 10 seconds the call disconnects after 3 short beeps.
during some periods the phone works perfect and some days it will drop 80% of my calls.. it is extremely frustrating for both me and those I talk to.
My roommate had the problem first and upgraded the firmware and it got better, so I did the same when mine started acting weird and it was also better for a while but now my phone is unfortunately completely worthless as a communications medium - nice looking though...
It happens both when I call someone and they call me, but its always my side that goes silent.
I have _atleast_ two friends with the EXACT identical problem, all have t68i
I do live in Sweden and my operator is Comviq. Funny thing is that my 2 other friends also have Comviq..
I had the problem both before and after I upgraded to "R8A015", which is what I am running on now.
Is this problem something thats documented somewhere with cause and solution? I want to know if its a hardware or software thing before I send it away to service for 3 weeks...
very thankful for answers

I had kind of the similar problems with my T68i. Calls were disconnected and such, SE service center tried to fix it a couple of times, the third they replaced the entire phone, since then it worked perfectly!
My advice - suck your thumb for the weeks when your phone's away

I had the same problem about a year ago. I'm also running on Comviq, but I don't think that's a part o the problem.
I left my phone at a SE service center i Malmö, and a week later they had replaced the microphone and the earpice speaker. Then it all worked fine up untill a month ago when the same problem started to acure. But it dosen't happen to me so often that the person I'm talking to can't hear me, but it happence once or wice a week.
When I hade my phone in for service a year ago I asked them about this problem and they sead that it was quite common for T68i phones. So you are not the onlyone with the prob.

yeah I called around to a few service centers today and 2 of them said its a very common problem with the t68i and that its some piece of hardware that needs to be replaced. Always nice when you are not alone
Now I just need Ericsson to extend my warranty since its a production error... will be tough but the helpdesk guy I talked to at Ericsson said it might be possible
